Has Your Pain Outlasted
Every Explanation?

The scans came back clear, or the injury healed, the surgery went well, and you're still in pain. When pain outlasts every explanation, it may be neuroplastic pain. It may have started with an injury, a stressful season, or nothing you can point to. Whatever started it, the nervous system can learn to keep it going. And whatever your nervous system learned, it can also unlearn. In short, neuroplastic pain is solvable.

If a doctor has told you that you have central sensitization, you're in the right place. It's a medical name for the same pattern this self-check looks for: a nervous system that has become more sensitive and keeps pain going.

This is the self-check I use with new clients. It draws on the clinical framework developed by Dr. Howard Schubiner and other leading researchers in neuroplastic pain.

A note before you begin: This self-check is educational, not medical advice, and it is not a diagnosis. It can tell you whether your pain may be neuroplastic and worth exploring further. If you have new or worsening symptoms, please see your physician first. Your answers are saved with your results, so the recommendations that follow can be personalized to you.
